Indie Lifetime Achievement Award

Frank McComb
Indie Soul Lifetime Achievement Winner
Frank McComb
Frank McComb has been putting out records for over 25 years.
-
His first widely released solo album was Love Stories, which came out in 2000 on Columbia Records.
-
Since then he’s released a steady stream of albums independently and with labels — including The Truth (2003), Straight from the Vault (2005), Tribute to the Masters (2006), Live in Atlanta (2007), A New Beginning (2010), and many more — continuing into the 2020s with recent singles and projects.
So from his first official record in 2000 through the present (2025–2026), McComb’s recording career spans about 25+ years.
If you include his earlier work before his solo debut (such as recordings with Buckshot LeFonque in the mid-1990s and unreleased MoJazz sessions), he’s been recording music since at least the early 1990s, making his involvement in recorded music closer to 30+ years
